We are currently working with an engineering company based in Rugby, who are now  looking to add a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to existing team, to help support growth and the implementation of technology.

The client focuses on high value and technical CNC milling and turning applications, who supply into a wide variety of different industries including Engineering, Aerospace, Automotive, Oil and Gas plus many more.  

The role of the CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator will involve:

• Program, set and operate jobs
• Offline and online programming
• Working on a 4 axis milling machine.
• Working off own initaitive
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings
• Knowledge of Heidenhain ,Fanuc Controls and Mill +
• Knowledge of Mastercam

The Ideal Candidate for the CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator will be:

• A qualified and ambitious individual who is seeking a new career challenge with an industry-leading precision engineering company.
• Is technically minded and has CNC machine tool background
• Ideally has at least 10 years experience with CNC Milling
• Is organised and can work efficiently

The ideal candidates for the Press Setter /Operator role will have: 

• A knowledge or understanding of hydraulic and hand presses.
• The ability to read engineering drawings.
• Gained previous experience in a similar role.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience in a tool room with milling, turning and grinding will be advantageous.
• Basic inspection skills to ensure components are produced to quality standards.

I am currently working with a well-established and growing engineering business based in Cannock who are a sub-contract sheet metal working company.  Due to an internal promotion, they now have a requirement for a Press Brake Setter/Operator to join their existing team on the shop floor.

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Press Brake Setter/Operator will be using Trumpf press brakes of 130T and 170T; however, if you have knowledge or experience of other press brake machines cross-training can be given. 

The ideal candidate for the Press Brake Setter/Operator role will have:

• A good knowledge of press brake machines, preferably Trumpf.
• The ability to read engineering drawings.
• Gained previous experience in a similar role.
• Good communication skills.

In return the Press Brake Setter/Operator can expect to receive a competitive salary, 33 days flexible holiday entitlement and free onsite parking.  The working hours for this role will be Mon-Thursday 07:30-16:00 (30 Mins break), Fri 07:30-13:00 (No break), however, a degree of flexibility will be expected if there is the requirement to cover other shifts.
