The role:

The Role
As a Quality Engineer , you'll play an integral role in our quality function, ensuring all fabricated components and assemblies meet exacting standards for our diverse client base. You’ll be responsible for:
- Maintaining and developing the QMS (ISO 9001).
- Undertaking internal and supplier audits.
- Investigating and resolving quality issues across the production line.
- Coaching and supporting teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
- Working closely with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to ensure standards are consistently met.
- Moving forward, the implementation of ISO14001 and ISO45001 across the group.
- PPAPs, FAIRs, NCR processes.
- Customer and supplier visits.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment—perfect for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor just as much as in the office.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after a confident communicator with leadership skills and a practical, problem-solving mindset. You’ll need:
- Minimum 3 years' proven experience in quality management within a metal manufacturing environment.
- Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 systems and audit processes.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude to resolving issues.
- Internal or lead auditor training (preferred).
- Experience with quality tools, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, SPC and FMEA.
- The ability to build trust across departments and champion quality at every stage.

If you're an experienced Press Brake Setter/Operator looking for a long-term role with stability and development, this could be your next step.
As a Press Brake Setter/Operator, you’ll be reporting directly to the Production Manager and working with a modern Bystronic press brake (just 2 years old!). If you’ve used other machines in the past, no problem – full cross-training is available.
Your daily tasks will include:
• Setting and operating press brake machinery
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Working closely with the production team to meet targets
Solid experience with press brake machines (Bystronic preferred but not essential)
Ability to read and work from technical/engineering drawings
Previous experience in a similar setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills

• This is a permanent late shift (Monday to Thursday) offering a 4- day working week and a quieter shop floor to focus on quality work.
